The John Q. Hammons Foundation, based in Springfield, MO, and operating in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame serves as the host organization for the acclaimed Price Cutter Charity Championship, presented by Dr Pepper on the Nationwide PGA Tour. In 2007, the Foundation distributed $ 650,308.00 to 43 children's and youth charities and organizations in the Ozarks, bringing the 18-year total to over $6 million.
Since the tournament’s inception in 1990, the Price Cutter Charity Championship has made a significant impact on the lives of young people throughout the Ozarks.
Each season, the top 20 money winners on the Nationwide PGA Tour earn their PGA Tour card for the following year. When you attend the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, you witness the PGA Tour Stars of tomorrow.
Volunteer Opportunties
It takes between 1,000 and 1,200 volunteers to pull off an event of this maganitude. People like you and me, working together in an effort which will bring so much hope to local children's charities. Regardless of your age or skills, there are so many ways your talents can be utilized at the Ozarks largest charity event.
